UFC 277

UFC 277 is a Women’s Bantamweight Championship rematch between the current champion Julianna Peña and former champion Amanda Nunes. this bout is expected to headline the event. The pairing had previously met last December at UFC 269 where Peña had captured the title by submission in the second round. This was a major upset at the time. As a sidenote, these two fighters are also the head coaches for the 30th season of The Ultimate Fighter.

The other lineup on this card is a UFC Flyweight Championship bout between former champion Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France. This pairing had previously met at UFC 245 in December of 2019, with Moreno winning via a unanimous decision. Alexandre Pantoja will serve as a backup and potential replacement for this fight.
