The 2015-16 National Hockey League season will be the 98th year of competition (97th season of play) in the (NHL). We have a new divisional realignment for the NHL’s 30 teams consolidating the six division format into four. The regular season will commence Thursday, October 1, 2015 and will end on Sunday, April 11th. The Stanley Cup Playoffs begin April 15th and run through middle of June in best of 7 series’.
